FusionFTP

Secure FTP, FTPS, SFTP, desktop client, migration, sync, and relay-cache transfer for modern server operations. Built as a Cerberus replacement with a safer successor to old server-to-server FXP workflows.

FusionFTP Server

The secure file service foundation.

FusionFTP Server starts with the operational pieces expected from a serious FTP server: protocol bindings, users, groups, virtual directories, storage roots, permissions, limits, audit logs, and event hooks.

Protocols

FTP, FTPS, and SFTP

Manage protocol listeners, certificate binding, host keys, ports, IP policy, connection limits, and service health.

Access Control

Users, groups, and directories

Map virtual folders to local, cloud, or mirrored storage roots with per-path permissions and policy controls.

Audit

Every file action has evidence

Record login, upload, download, rename, delete, mkdir, denial, transfer, retry, and admin-change events.

FusionFTP Client

A modern operator client for manual work and monitored transfers.

The desktop client can browse endpoints, compare trees, launch transfers, inspect job manifests, and keep the operator informed without forcing every large transfer through the desktop connection.

Client workflows

  • FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SMB, local disk, and FusionStorage endpoints
  • Side-by-side browsing and transfer queue control
  • Smart hash compare, skip, overwrite, rename, and resume decisions
  • Job handoff to relay or site agent when the desktop is not the best path

FusionFTP Relay

Server-to-server movement without legacy FXP risk.

FusionFTP Relay Cache recreates the useful part of FlashFXP-style movement: fast unattended transfer between remote systems. Instead of direct FXP, FusionFTP can use encrypted chunk staging, site agents, resume tokens, TTL cleanup, and verified manifests.

1

Plan

Build a manifest of files, sizes, timestamps, permissions, and destination mapping.

2

Hash

Compute quick, full, and chunk hashes to decide what can skip, resume, or repair.

3

Relay

Move encrypted chunks through a cloud relay, site relay, or direct agent path with retry and TTL policy.

4

Verify

Confirm destination files by hash, byte length, manifest, and audit record before completion.

Smart File Hash

Hash intelligence makes transfer and backup stronger.

FusionFTP uses Smart File Hash for duplicate detection, upload verification, sync decisions, relay resume, migration proof, and FusionStorage lookup. The same model also supports FusionBackup snapshots and restore assurance.

Hash profile

  • File stat, size, timestamps, and path identity
  • Quick hash for large-file comparison
  • Full SHA-256 for final integrity
  • Chunk hashes for resumable relay transfer
  • Content hints and extension mismatch warnings

Platform Role

FusionFTP moves files. FusionStorage keeps them. FusionBackup protects them.

FusionFTP owns secure file service access, migration, sync, relay caching, and transfer evidence. It works beside FusionStorage, FusionBackup, FusionBridge, FusionScript, and FusionAnalyze instead of becoming a monolithic storage platform.

FusionStorage

Default cloud backing for cloud and mirror storage roots, object lookup, archives, and replicas.

FusionBackup

Uses the same hash and node ideas for backup sets, snapshots, restore tests, and recovery proof.

FusionBridge

Connects external systems, credentials, storage providers, queues, and customer endpoints.

FusionScript

Automates file arrival, migration completion, sync schedules, and policy actions.

FusionFTP

Server, client, and relay in one file-transfer platform.

FusionFTP is being developed as the secure transfer layer for Fusion Software and as a practical replacement path for legacy FTP server installations.
